The 64 remaining players are on another 15-minute break. When they return, action resumes until the field is down to ITM of 48 players.

Day 1b reaches the end of level 12 and the T-500 chips are raced off as they are now no longer required for the remainder of the evening. Out of a field of 380 entries, only 103 players remain and they all aim to make it to the top 48 finishers in order to advance to the money stages.

Upon completion of level nine, the field is up to 364 entries for Day 1b with 173 players remaining. They are now on their third scheduled 15-minute break during which the T-100 chips are raced off.

Once the cards are back in the air thereafter, the late registration for the second flight will officially close.

Level 8 is now underway with 319 entries and 188 players in the field. Registration remains open until the start of Level 10 giving plenty of time for latecomers to jump in. Starting stack is 40,000 which is 33 big blinds.

Day 1B resumes with 291 entries at the start of Level 7 which matches the opening flight turnout. There are currently 196 players seated. Blinds are now 500-1,000 ante 1,000. For players that register in this level, starting stack is 40,000, equivalent to 40 big blinds. Registration stays open until the start of Level 10.

Day 1B is on its second 15-minute break. Currently 285 entries with registration still open until the start of Level 10.

Level 6 is underway with blinds up to 400-800 ante 800. There are currently 258 entries with 198 players seated. Registration stays open until the start of Level 10 giving latecomers and railbirds plenty of time to jump in.

Michael Allen busts and re-enters right away, as do Jared Smith and Elliot Nichols. Billy Chattaway, Aleksei Zhukov, Joseph Hebert and Alen Bakovic are in fresh faces in the field with the latter already having won one trophy and reached another final table during the series so far.

Accordsing to the screens, there are 187 players out of 241 entries remaining.

Day 1B has now entered Level 5 with blinds up to 300-600 ante 600. The field has climbed to 222 entries with 181 players seated. There's a high chance of the opening flight turnout of 291 to be surpassed with registration open until the start of Level 10.

First break is in the books, Level 4 is now underway with 178 entries tallied and 157 players in the field. Blinds are up to 300-500 ante 500. For late arrivals and fence-sitters, there's plenty of time to join the action with registration open until the start of Level 10.

After three levels, Day 1B has reached its first 15-minute break. Currently 147 players in the field and 167 entries. For late arrivals and fence-sitters, registration is open until the start of Level 10.

Win Htut Tin never recovered from the full house of Kunal Patni and is among those to bust lately. Also no longer in contention are Anzhela Vasylenko, Deepankur Gupta, Kjetil Engvoldsen, Maxime De Pins, and Rishi Mehra. The latter re-enters right away to join new entrants such as Junpeng Pan, Kurtis Ruhl, Laksh Pal Singh, Mai Bien, Michael Allen and defending champion Alexander Puchalski.

Day 1B has now entered Level 3 with 115 entries and climbing. Blinds are up to 200-400 ante 400. Registration is open until the start of Level 10 giving latecomers plenty of time to jump in.

First level done and dusted. Level 2 is now underway with blinds at 200-300 ante 300. The field is up significantly with 72 entries by the start of this level as compared to yesterday's 60 entries. Registration is open until the start of Level 10 so plenty of time for latecomers to jump in.

Table one is now almost full ring and features two familiar faces for the World Poker Tour brand. WPT Champions Club member Marvin Rettenmaier had a quick chat with the player in the nine seat, which happens to be Frenchman Marc Inizan. More than three years ago in November 2022, Inizan won the WPT Prime Taiwan for a trademark victory.
