Okada Millions (8,000 PHP)

Flight E of Okada Millions drew the largest crowd yet of 310 entries with many of the past fallouts returning further boosted by an international contingent of Japanese, Koreans, and Europeans. Just under eight hours of play, Terry Gonzaga delivered the bubble, knocking out Chinese player Shi Shanbang and leaving the final 37 players to bag up. Gonzaga earned the sixth largest stack of the flight, and though commendable, it was a far distance from the leader Anacleto Quijano.

Quijano went on a tear during the seventh hour, railing multiple players and raking in pots in succession. One of his last pots was calling out Jasper David's bluff with three overcards to his small pocket pair. He bagged up a monstrous 853,000 stack to be the only player so far to overtake Flight A leader Christian Lortie Cloutier in the cumulative Day 2 counts.

Also making it through were Acharya Anant and Gary Guerrero, both players joining Ajay Abrol in bagging up multiple stacks.

The survivors have an overnight's rest and will return at 12pm tomorrow for the final race to the title. The prize pool is currently past PHP 10M setting a new record for this event. With registration still open for the final Flight G, we will have the official attendance and prize pool once they have been announced.

The cumulative entries at the end of this flight was 1168 with 139 players into the ITM round.

Anyone that has gone up against the leader Anacleto Quijano has been denied and Jasper David was next. Quijano raised 13,000 from early position and David called from cutoff. They proceeded to check it to the turn 3♦ J♠ K♠ K♥ where Quijano bet 18,000 that David called. On the river 7♣ , Quijano's 26,000 was met with a raise of 80,000, Quijano assessed the board then called.

David was bluffing with Q♦ 9♦ , Quijano collected with 5♥ 5♠ .

Anacleto Quijano's bid for the biggest overall stack is headed in that direction having scored back to back pots to surpass the bar set by Flight A leader. On his second pick up he calls a raise of 12,000 at cutoff and big blind defends for a three way to the flop 3♦ 8♠ 5♦ .

Preflop raiser Charlie Bautista continues for 15,000, only Quijano calls to see the turn J♣ . Bautista barrels 50,000 and still Quijano is unfazed and calls. On the river A♦ , Bautista checks, Quijano bets 110,000 which well covers Bautista's 75,000 stack. Bautista risks and shows 5♠ 5♥ . Quijano isn't bluffing and shows Q♦ J♦ second pair to ship the huge pile of chips.

Roland Ferrer looks down at 5♠ 5♦ and raises to 10,000 from early position. After one player calls, small blind Kento Chogo three-bets 50,000 with 9♥ 9♠ . Only Ferrer wants to continue to the flop and calls. Board runs T♦ 7♦ 6♠ . Chogo open shoves 91,000, Ferrer can afford it but it is almost half of his stack, he goes deep in the tank then decides to call.

The bad news for Ferrer continues at the turn A♦ and with the river 8♥ , he pays up as Chogo ships a big one.

Rick Jason Ambata added more to his stack with A♠ 9♦ finishing off shorty Jeffrey Ballester who went all in for 6 bb backed by 8♠ 3♠ . Ballester nearly doubled up when the board ran Q♠ 7♠ 8♣ K♠ for the flush but with the river T♠ , Ambata landed the nut flush.

Terry Gonzaga three-bets all in for 87,000 with A♠ T♦ in the hole. Raiser Jaegill Choi gives him a sweat with K♣ J♠ . When the flop runs 3♣ A♣ A♦ , Gonzaga is nearly assured the win then gets there with the turn J♥ as Choi is drawing dead.

Another player goes down at the hands of Anacleto Quijano. The casualty is Eldee Lim who opens 10,000 from cutoff and Quijano defends on the big blind. At the flop A♣ 8♥ 3♦ , Quijano check-calls another 10,000, then on the turn 6♠ , Quijano switches up and check-raises from 30,000 to pushing Lim.

With only 86,000 in total, Lim makes the call and shows 5♣ 5♠ set which is still behind Quijano's 7♣ 9♣ straight. The river J♣ doesn't pair improve Lim to lose all of his chips.

Harry Halim doubled up off Jinwoo Park with pocket Queens uncracked by Ace-King. Park plunges to 7 bb then busts on the next hand.

Charlie Bautista starts off the hand with a min-raise that finds a caller in hijack Lito Quijano. Two spots over Elco Kuiper on the small blind three-bets 16,000 and it's cheap enough for the two to call.

When the flop comes 8♠ 9♣ T♣ , Kuiper continues for 25,000, Bautista folds, and Quijano pays to see the turn 4♠ . Again Kuiper bets 25,000 and Quijano calls to complete the board 5♦ . Wasting no time counting, Kuiper shoves 106,000 and still doesn't push out Quijano.

Kuiper flips over A♣ K♠ air and busts to Quijano's Q♥ T♠ top pair.

After losing to Sagang Kim on a previous hand, Sunjong Yoo falls to Kim on a flip. Kim's Ace-King found a king on the flop to dust pocket Sevens.

Sagang Kim and Sunjon Yoo go pound for pound in this hand that starts with a raise of 6000 from Kim. Yoo calls from cutoff and the flop comes 9♠ T♣ 4♦ . Kim is first to act and c-bets 4000, Yoo challenges with a raise of 11,000, Kim flats.

On the turn T♥ , Kim checks to Yoo who fires 25,000, Kim calls and the pot balloons to 91,500. The river 3♠ sees more chips go ins with a shove from Yoo, Kim has 84,000 left and risks it which is the right decision with Yoo bluffing with K♥ 8♥ . Kim wins it with Q♣ T♠ trips.

Jesse Solidum goes all in for 30,300 and A♣ 8♣ , two spots over Yoshito Homma has A♠ Q♣ and calls putting Solidum at risk. With the board running J♠ 6♦ 5♠ 9♠ T♥ , Homma delivers the bust and chips up.

David Deltreuilh opens for 5500, button Jinwoo Park and big blind Harry Halim call. At the flop 5♠ K♦ 4♠ , Deltreuilh continues for 7500 and both Park and Halim pay to see the turn 4♣ . Action then checks to the button Park who bets 13,000, only Halim continues to the river J♥ where both players opt to check.

Halim flips over T♠ 7♠ missed draw, Park claims the pot with K♥ Q♣ top pair.

Action folds to the small blind Alang Zhenbo who raises 4500. Big bliind Lemmor Patulot defends then the check it to the turn 4♣ 8♠ 7♥ 6♣ . Another check from Zhenbo but not Patulot who sends out 6000, Zhenbo calls. Same action on the river 8♦ with Patulot firing a larger 25,500 bet, Zhenbo tank-calls, Patulot quickly mucks.

With the turn Q♣ and river T♣ , Lee misses his outs to improve to run out of chips.

Yukitaka Todate raises 5000 from early position and finds one caller from cutoff until small blind Hosho Takashi three-bets 16,500. Todate calls while cutoff folds. At the flop 3♠ 2♥ T♦ , Takashi fires 12,000 and Todate calls then both players check the turn J♠ . When the river falls 4♠ , Takashi comes out firing again for 30,000 and this time it sees no challenge from Todate.

Four players contribute 3000 to the pot and see a flop of 2♣ 8♥ 3♥ . Small blind Rytis Kajokas jumps out with a jam for 18,300 that pushes out two players while Shi Shanbang calls with K♠ 3♣ small pair. Kajokas has A♠ 8♠ top pair. The turn A♦ and river 7♠ secures the win for Kajokas to double through.

Jongyeon Kim looks down at A♣ K♦ and goes all in for 9800, big stacked Maengho Shin calls with A♥ 7♥ . Kim is ahead however the board has alot of hearts to give running T♠ 5♥ 4♥ T♣ 6♥ to clean out Kim with a flush.

The largest flight yet with 310 entries sending the cumulative entries to 1,169 and the pot to over PHP 8 Million!! There are still two flights open for registration so that pot will balloon some more. Only 37 are guaranteed an ITM spot. Currently 147 players are battling for one of those seats.

Two very aggressive players go at it starting with a raise from Gary Guerrero of 2500 that Hochung Song calls from the big blind. At the flop T♥ A♥ K♦ , Guerrero c-bets 3500, Song check-calls to take them to the turn 8♠ . Guerrero barrels again for 8500, this time Song check-raises 28,500, Guerrero flats. The board then completes 7♣ on the river. Song jumps out with a shove for 62,100, Guerrero tanks then eventually lets go of his hand.

The turn Q♠ and river T♠ give Santos and Tan the straight to split it up as Henoud loses some chips.

Yohei Kosuga raises 2500, Riener Magbutay reraises 7000, big blind Jesus Rivera calls, and Kosuga joins for a three way. More chips go in at the flop 3♠ 7♠ 4♠ starting with Magbutay for 300, Rivera calls, then Kosuga check-raises all in for 37,000. Magbutay follows suit with more chips to successfully isolate as Rivera folds.

Kosuga shows 4♦ 4♥ set , Magbutay has Q♠ 6♠ flush . The turn 3♣ seals the win for Kosuga for a boat and the river completes 3♦ .

David Deltreuilh is dealt A♥ A♦ again and three-bets to 7500. Initial raiser Sato Taiga has Q♠ Q♥ and four-bets 17,000. Deltreuilh pushes all in and Taiga snap-calls for everything behind.

With the board running well for Deltreuilh, A♣ T♥ 9♥ 7♠ T♠ , Taiga goes bust.

Mei Hsuan Hu looks down at A♥ K♠ and raises 3000, the blinds call for a flop A♦ 4♦ Q♠ . Blinds check to Hu who bets 3000 for top pair, both blinds call again to see the turn 4♠ pair the board. Checked again to Hu and 12,000 is the bet. Junichi Murakami folds while Gary Guerrero goes all in. Hu is covered and calls it off anyway. Guerrero has J♥ 4♥ trips. With the river T♦ , Hu is eliminated and Guerrero strikes again.

Action folds around to small blind David Deltreuilh, he pushes with J♥ 8♠ and big blind Yohan Lee with just 11 bb risks with 8♣ 9♦ . With the board running J♠ 3♣ 7♣ 5♦ 8♥ , Lee is eliminated.

Double qualifier Ajay Abrol is attempting to bag a third but he will have to re-enter as he has just been booted by Jungmin Kim. It was all in preflop with Abrol A♣ 7♠ missing the board against Kim's K♦ K♣ .

Following a raise from Redentor Edoc that's called by the button, David Deltreuilh three-bets 9000. Only Edoc calls then calls another 6500 bet from Deltreuilh on the flop K♦ 9♦ 5♦ . With the turn 4♦ , both players check and do the same on the river 4♥ . Deltreuilh turns over A♠ A♥ and wins the pot.

Roy Khor is all in holding A♠ Q♠ and shorter stacked Emmanuel Santos calls and shows A♥ K♦ . With the board running Q♣ 4♥ 5♦ 4♦ 7♠ , Khor improves and knocks out Santos with a bad beat.

Jason Feng kicks off the hand from under the gun for 2000 then calls the charging Gary Guerrero's 6000 three-bet. At the flop J♦ A♠ 4♠ , Feng checks, Guerrero takes the chance for 5000, Feng raises 12,000, and Guerrero flats. On the turn 6♦ , Feng leads out with a shove of 32,100 and it's enough to push out Guerrero.

With T♠ 8♠ on hand, Gilson Chan raises from early position. Several spots over Hosho Takashi calls from hijack. At the flop T♦ 5♥ 8♥ , Chan checks to trap with top two pair, Takashi takes the bait and bets 5000. Chan raises 11,100, and Takashi calls. On the turn T♥ , Chan checks again and Takashi checks back. With a full house, Chan value-bets 8,800 on the river 5♦, Takashi snap-calls then mucks.

According to Jundy Walker, he landed trips on the flop to win a big pot against Kenneth Galola. While we dont have the full action, we do have the aftermath. Walker rises to 134,200 and Galola plunge to half starting stack.

Jasper David is dealt A♣ Q♦ at small blind and three-bets all in for 16,500. Action bounces back to the initial raiser Rafael Chan who has more chips and isn't going anywhere with his A♦ A♠ . With the board running 3♠ K♦ 8♥ 9♦ 9♣ , David is eliminated.

David Deltreuilh has A♥ J♣ and raises 1600 from hijack. Button player John Jay Magadan likes his J♦ 9♣ and calls. The flop 7♠ J♥ 3♠ pairs up both players with Deltreuilh way ahead. He checks to Magadan who bets 2300. Deltreuilh raises 7500, Magadan calls and the see the turn come 6♣ . Deltreuilh leads out with a jam of 16,800, Magadan has slightly more and can't resist.

The river 3♣ doesn't improve Magadan to get out-kicked as Deltreuilh banks a double.

Suya Lee kicks off the action with a raise of 1800 from cutoff, button player calls then small blind re-reaises 6600. Only Lee calls to go heads up to the flop 9♣ K♦ 2♦ . Song continues for 7500, Lee jams 16,400, Song snap-calls and shows A♣ K♥ top pair top kicker. Lee has outs with Q♦ T♦ flush draw. However, the turn 3♥ and river 4♣ are not it to get sent to the rail.

Javier Escat raises to 1600 from under the gun then calls hijack Li Ming Liu three-bet of 4200. Both players check to the river 7♣ 7♠ 6♦ 4♠ 9♥ . Escat bets 4200, Liu calls then mucks to Escat's K♠ 9♠ .

Facing a raise of 1700 from cutoff player Mario Michaels, big blind Jundy Walker three-bets 4000. Michaels calls then calls again at the flop 9♣ 7♠ A♠ for 3000. The turn T♥ is checked by both. Walker resumes betting on the river Q♣ for 8000, Michaels calls again. Walker shows a strong Q♠ Q♦ set, Michaels folds and shows one card A♦ .

Ho-Tai Tsai limps K♠ K♦ from under the gun, next to act Yujiro Nagao with A♣ J♦ raises 4000, and after the rest fold back to Tsai, a three-bet of 10,900 slides out. Nagao gives it a thought then pushes 25,000, Tsai calls with 24,900 in total.

The board runs out 7♣ 6♠ K♥ 4♥ 5♥ giving Tsai a double up.

Jasper David was down to just 7000 but got a boost on a lucky runout. Shoving from hijack with K♣ J♣ , he got called by Bryant Wei with A♥ Q♥ . Wei was ahead and distanced further at the flop A♠ 2♠ 2♣ but with the turn J♦ and river J♥ , the win was stolen by trips for a double up to David.

Action packed kick off with a raise of 1500 from Alang Fu Zhenbo is called by two players. When it reaches the button Homin Lee, he raises 4500 and Zhenbo calls along with Roxanne Victorino as one folds.

This brings them to the flop 7♠ 4♦ 9♥ where more chips go in. Victorino bets 6000, Lee raises to 10,000, Zhenbo and Victorino both call. Action slows down on the turn J♠ with no bets finding the felt however on the river 8♥ , Victorino lays out 10,000 that's good to take down the pot without further challenge.

Following a caller from hijack, Temestocles Albao joins from the button, calling Kenneth Galola's preflop 1600 raise. Action heats up at the flop 4♠ 9♥ 2♣ after Galola c-bets 2000 that's again called by hijack with Albao jamming his last 14,400. Galola rejams for 16,200 and it's heads up wit hijack folding.

At showdown, Albao has A♦ 9♦ behind Galola's T♦ T♠ . The turn 6♠ and river 3♦ are no help to send Galola the pot and boot out Albao.

Shono Ogake raises 1200 from cutoff and three players join in. At the flop 4♦ 9♦ 4♣ , Ogake continues for 3000 and sees only Hosho Takashi make the call. On the turn 9♣ , Ogake fires a third barrel of 7000, Takashi answers with a check-raise all in and well covers Ogake who opts out and save what's left behind.

Action folds around to the small blind Jasper David who has A♦ T♠, he raises 1500. Clark Pallaya defends on the big blind with K♦ 8♦ . When the board runs 3♣ 5♠ K♣ J♦ , Pallaya calls David's 2000 and 7000 bets, then on the river 8♠ , David shoves, Pallaya calls with less and says if he didn't hit the eight on the river he would have folded.

Roxanne Victorino had to re-enter having aces cracked but is now in fine shape having dusted two players in one go. According to Victorino, she had 8-9 offsuit up against pocket Tens and pocket Jacks. The board was 7♦ J♥ 5♣ 4♠ 6♣ .
