
Beomhui Kang Wins Okada Millions - PHP 1,305,000 / $22,900

The 6th edition of the PokerStars LIVE Okada Manila Millions wrapped up its flagship tournament with Beomhui Kang clinching the title after a one hand flip with Anacleto Quijano.
"This was my first championship and it's like a dream! I am very happy I won this championship. I am only a businessman. Poker is just my hobby."
Kang catapulted to the top of the counts after he eliminated Fahad Alanazi in 7th place. Alanazi had top pair top kicker which Kang defeated with two pair.
"My toughest opponent was seat 5 (Fahad Alanazi). He had A♠ 9♦ and I had 6♥ 9♥ and the flop had 5♣ 6♠ 9♣ two pair."
At three handed, an ICM deal was struck guaranteeing Kang the second largest payout of PHP 1,305,000 (~US$ 22,900). Added to his win was the APPT Package worth PHP 180,000. Congratulations to the champ!

The record breaking Okada Millions ran from April 10-13, 2025 at Okada Manila in Philippines. It being the most popular low-stakes tournament by PokerStars LIVE, it attracted players from all over the region pulling in 1,638 entries across seven flights. With buy in at just PHP 8000 (~US$ 140), it set a new prize pool high of PHP 11,185,574 (~US$ 196,300) with 196 players earning share.
Event Recap
The final day of the Main Event saw 189 players return to the felt, including Hernan Villa, the event’s inaugural champion, who came in strong after bagging the chip lead in Flight B. When the field thinned, entering chip leader Anacleto Quijano maintained his dominance, knocking out multiple opponents on his way to the final table.
Shortly before the ninth hour of play, Christian Cloutier was eliminated by Beomhui Kang in 10th place, setting the stage for the final nine. At the top of the counts, it was a tight race between Villa, Fahad Alanazi, and Quijano.
The sprint for the title took just 32 hands. One of the key moments came when Quijano scored a dramatic double knockout, sending Rodolfo Ramo and Joungwoo Park to the rail as the first two final table casualties. After Alanazi exited, Kang surged into the lead, but Quijano bounced back by eliminating Dino Sabatini, bringing the stacks nearly even.
Quijano regained momentum with the elimination of Vamerdino Magsakay, but it was Kang who sealed the deal in the end, taking out both Villa and Quijano to clinch the Main Event title.
Hand #32: Anacleto Quijano Eliminated In 2nd Place

The final two players opted to flip for the title. Anacleto Quijano had 3♠ 2♣ , Beomhui Kang ahead 9♠ 5♠ . The final board was Q♠ 4♣ 6♥ K♥ J♠ . Both missed for Kang's bigger card to play.
