That's a wrap for the Okada Millions Flight D with 222 entries whittled down to just 26 players securing their spot in the Day 2 lineup. The heat concluded at the fall of Alekhine Isidro to Joungwoo Park who went on to bag up the second largest stack of the flight of 392,000 in chips.

Ahead of him by one spot was China's Pan Yao with a 472,000 in chips. Yao gained momentum during the late rounds delivering busts to Naoki Kato and Jun Beum Chun.

The survivors have a day's rest before returning on Sunday, April 13 for the final race to glory. They are each guaranteed a piece of the prize pool which is currently at PHP 5.89 Million. That pot will rise further with three more flights yet to be tabled.

So far, the flagship tournament has drawn cumulative 858 entries with 102 players advancing to the money round which includes one double qualifier. Still leading the Day 2 lineup is Flight A leader Christian Lortie Cloutier with 700,000 in chips.

Down to just 64,000 (8 bb), Vishal Aswani lays it on the line with 5♠ 5♦ in the hole. He is called by Ian Moyani with A♣ 4♣ . When the flop comes 4♦ 6♣ K♥ , Moyani improves but is still behind. No change on the turn J♥ but with the river 4♥ , Moyani lands trips and eliminates Aswani who gets up disappointedly while saying, "story of my life".

With a pot of 35,000 brewed, big blind Gyeong Tae Yoo bets 7000 on a flop 8♣ 9♦ 6♥ and Ian Moyani calls. On the turn 7♥ , another bet from Yoo of 13,000 is laid out and it's enough to win the pot uncontested.
