The PokerStars LIVE. Okada Manila Millions concluded the second flight of its flagship Okada Millions with 171 signing up across 10 levels of registration. When the bubble burst, the final 21 ITM players were determined. With the field populated by locals, the survivors list was no different with Hernan Jaybee Villa at the top of the counts. Villa was the first ever champion of this event and is well on his way for a repeat. He bagged up 523,000 (52 bb).

Also finding success was WSOP bracelet winner Mike Takayama with 324,000 (32 bb), Okada Micro champion Rene Mar David with 170,000 (17 bb), Karen Talamayan with 147,000 (14 bb), and up and coming player Michael Calunsod with 161,000 (16 bb).

One of the most dramatic moments had to be the rise of Jay Padilla from just 1 bb. He won three consecutive hands and eventually bagged up 123,000 (12 bb).

The survivors have a couple of days off before returning for Day 2 on April 13, 2025 at 1pm. While waiting, there are ample single day side events on tap for some practice or enjoy the cash games, all taking place at the PokerStars LIVE hub at Okada Manila in Manila, Philippines.

Flight A: 202 entries / 24 ITM

Flight B: 171 entries / 21 ITM

For those that missed, there are still five flights set to run with Flight C and Flight D taking place on April 11, 2025. This is a low-stake buy-in tournament costing only PHP 8,000 (~US$ 140) for a shot at the PHP 5,000,000 guarantee.

It's the bet Carillo could hope for as he is flipping with overcards. However, none of them turn up to end the day on the bubble.

Padilla's pocket pair holds once again. Robin Andrews at the table says, "cockroaches never die."

Flight C has reached the bubble round with 22 players left and one more bust needed before the day ends.

On a limped pot with the flop checked, three players go to the turn board K♣ 2♣ K♥ A♦ where chips begin to fly. Big blind bets 8000, cutoff Robin Andrews calls, then small blind Joey Pardales check-raises 22,000. Only Andrews continues to the river J♥ . Pardales fires 35,000, and this time he wins the pot without further challenge.

When the turn comes 7♣ , Saito lands the flush and is guaranteed the main pot while Talamayan landed a straight to take the side pot. Shafiev can't believe it and says, "seriously?" While Talamayan chimes "hindi mo ako mabubust out".

Alexis Lim makes it 9000 to go and the blinds oblige for a three-way look at the flop 2♦ T♥ K♣ . The blinds check to Lim who lays out 11,500 and both blinds call. On the turn 3♣ , more come out of Lim's corner for 13,500, this time only small blind Azamat Shafiev calls to take the bout to the river K♦ . Both players opt to fold.

Shafiev missed his open ended with Q♣ J♥ for Lim to win the pot with J♣ T♠ pair.

Four callers are in once more for 6000 to see a flop of 3♠ 3♥ 7♠ . Action is checked to the button Oleg Mordassov who shoves 40,000. Action folds around.

Four players are in for 6000 each and check down the flop to quickly reach a turn board 2♣ 3♠ K♦ 4♥ . Action is checked around to Jesse Solidum, he bets 9000 that loses two players. Only Oracion sticks around with a check-raise of 25,5000. Solidum tanks then let's Oracion have the pot.

Tony Abesamis and the small blind call Jay Padilla's 3200 raise to see a flop of 7♥ 2♦ J♠ . Padilla continues for 3500 and only Abesamis calls. On the turn Q♣ , Padilla fires another 10,000 and still doesn't shake off Abesamis then both take it easy on the 3♠ river and check. Padilla has A♠ T♦ air, Abesamis wins the pot with 7♣ 6♣ pair.

Flight B of Okada Millions closed registration with 171 entries of which only 19 players will advance to ITM.
