Flight C had 250 entries with the top 38 advancing and Jonald Garcia emerging as the chip leader, bagging a whopping 709,000 in chips with a late charge including the last minute eliminations of Robert Yamashita and Jeffrey Pamplona. Sehoon Jin finished 2nd with 478,000 and Alvir Inocentes came in third with 434,000. Those three will also start day 2 as overall chip leaders.

With first to act Kim Seongjin opening for 600, +1 Darren Moves increses to 1,100 and calls the initial raiser's 4,500 four-bet to see the flop T♣ 6♠ 7♥ that gets checked all the way to the river 8♣ J♠ . Kim Seongjin lays out a final bet of 10,000 with K♠ K♦ and gets called, followed by a muck.

Christopher Mateo opens 1,600 from CO and SB Seongjin Kim defends with a 4,000 three-bet. A call reveals the flop T♣ 2♣ 2♠ that gets checked to the turn 7♦ and Seongjin Kim takes it down with a 2,000 bet.

An open for 1,200 has Kim Seongjin take CO and BB to the flop 6♠ 7♥ 7♠ . The 2,000 c-bet finds two takers for the turn 8♣ . Another 3,000 lead gets answered by BB Jeniel Muere with an 8,000 raise to see the river 2♥ heads up. Jeniel Muere check calls a 13,800 jam with 9♥ 8♦ , but Kim Seongjin tables T♣ 9♦ for a straight and a double up.

Kim Seongjin opens 1,200 from HJ and CO Jeniel Muere wants to see the flop 3♣ 9♠ 7♥ . A 1,000 c-bet gets called for the turn 7♦ and when checked to him, Jeniel Muere takes over with a 1,000 lead of his own to complete the board 6♠ . Two checks has Jeniel Muere come out on top with 3♦ 2♦ .

With Seongjin Kim opening 1,200 from UTG in front, Jeniel Muere pumps it to 3,000 for the flop A♥ T♣ 8♠ followed by a 1,500 c-bet to the turn 4♣ . Checked around to the river 5♠ , Jeniel Muere takes it home with a 2,500 bet.
