Vincent Huang is an Australian poker player. His exact age is unknown, but he’s estimated to be in his late 20’s.

He has over $650,000 in lifetime live tournament earnings. In January 2019, he took down the A$1,250 No Limit Hold ’em event at the Aussie Millions for A$186,670. He has two more titles from the Aussie Millions, as well as two Asian Poker Tour (APT) titles.

He’s also a very successful online MTT player. He plays under the screen name “Moist” on Natural8-GGNetwork.

Vincent Huang’s Career

Huang’s first recorded cash on his Hendon profile is from August 2015. He came in 4th in the A$330 No Limit Hold’em – Super Saturday tourney at the Club Marconi Poker Palace Recurring Tournaments for A$3,010 (which equaled around $2,178 at the time).

For the next few years, Huang kept cashing a couple of times a year in mid-stakes tournaments in his home country of Australia. From this period of his career, his biggest score is a 5th place finish for A$4,060 ($3,039) in the A$750 NLHE event at the Poker Palace Deep Stack Series in Sydney.

His first big break came at the end of 2017. He made it to the final table in the A$2,200 WSOP Circuit Main Event in Sydney, Australia. He eventually busted in 8th place for A$48,868 ($36,789).

This big score set up a very prolific 2018 for the young Aussie poker pro.

He kicked the new year off by placing 12th in the A1,050 No Limit Holdem – Accumulator (Event #8) for A$9,860 ($7,874) at the Aussie Millions at Crown Casino Melbourne. Soon after, he won his first Aussie Millions title. Huang took down the A$1,050 Aussie Millions Tournament of Champions event for A$67,190 ($54,280). He beat the famous Norwegian poker pro Preben Stokkan heads-up for the title.

2018 was also the first year Huang made money finishes in tournaments played outside Australia. In March, he finished 54th in the HK$6,000 NLHE – PokerStars Asia Open event for HK$11,400 ($1,479) in Macau.

He then traveled to the United States to compete in his first World Series of Poker. He ended his summer in Las Vegas with 3 cashes. The biggest one out of the three was $7.915. That sum was earned by finishing 35th in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event.

Huang even traveled to Brazil in December 2018 to play in the Brazilian Series of Poker. He came in 17th in the BRL2,300 NLHE 6-Handed event for BRL7,470 ($1,945).

At the 2019 Aussie Millions at Crown Melbourne, Huang won two tournaments within 10 days of each other. First, he took down the A$1,050 No Limit Hold’em Accumulator #8 event for A$186,670 ($133,158). That is his biggest single live tournament score to date. Then, he finished first in the A$1,050 NLHE Shot Clock #25 event for A$65,195 ($47,273).

In September 2019, he came in 3rd in the VND107,000,000 NLHE High Roller event at WPT Vietnam in Ho CHi min City. He won VND638,260,000 ($27,641).

He was back for more at the 2020 Aussie Millions, finishing 16th in the A$25K Challenge for A$70,980 ($48,984). He then traveled to the Philippines where he took 2nd place in the PHP200,000 NLHE High Roller event at WPT Philippines for PHP1,688,250 ($33,487).

As for online poker, he plays under the screen name “Moist” on Natural8-GGNetwork. In June 2021, he won the $1,050 NLHE High Rollers Week Event #2: GGMasters High Rollersfor $141,384. He managed to top a 952-player field. Huang defeated the Brazilian Fabio “TheBonas” Bonatto heads-up for the title.

In addition, in the summer of 2020, when all WSOP events were forced to be played online due to the Coronavirus pandemic, he cashed in 6 WSOP Online events on Natural8. The biggest of his 6 cashes was $14,634. He got that for finishing 481st in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event.
