WPT Cambodia 2026 Kicks Off At NagaWorld With 20 Days Of Poker Action

Following the success of one of Asia’s longest and most lucrative poker festivals last year, World Poker Tour (WPT) Cambodia has officially returned to the luxurious NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, Cambodia . The 2026 edition promises another action-packed schedule, blending marquee championship events with a wide range of tournaments designed for players of all levels.
Running from January 21 to February 9, 2026, WPT Cambodia 2026 spans 20 days of nonstop poker, solidifying its reputation as one of the premier destinations on the Asian poker calendar.
Major Highlight Events Headline The Festival

As with previous editions, WPT Cambodia 2026 is anchored by two flagship tournaments that are expected to draw large international fields.
The first is WPT Prime Cambodia, scheduled from January 30 to February 3. Featuring a $1,100 buy-in and a substantial $750,000 guaranteed prize pool, WPT Prime continues to attract both regional grinders and international professionals seeking value and prestige.
Immediately following is the festival’s crown jewel, the WPT Cambodia Championship, which runs from February 4 to 9, concluding the series. With a $3,500 buy-in and a massive $1,500,000 guarantee, the Championship is set to be the biggest event of the festival and one of the largest poker tournaments in Southeast Asia this year.
Looking Back: WPT Cambodia 2025 Sets The Bar High

The return of WPT Cambodia comes after a highly successful 2025 edition that exceeded expectations across the board. Last year’s festival paid out approximately $10.7 million in total prize money, far surpassing its $3.2 million initial guarantee.
Over the course of 19 days, WPT Cambodia 2025 attracted more than 10,000 total entries across 81 events, showcasing the growing popularity of Cambodia as a major poker hub and reinforcing NagaWorld’s status as a world-class poker venue.
Artem Vezhenkov captured the WPT Cambodia Championship 2025 title after navigating a star-studded final table and defeating Ronald Haverkamp in heads-up play. Vezhenkov took home $390,650 along with the WPT trophy.
What’s New At WPT Cambodia 2026
Building on that momentum, WPT Cambodia 2026 features 73 trophy events and an increased series-wide guarantee of $3.5 million. The schedule is carefully structured to cater to a wide range of bankrolls, offering everything from affordable daily tournaments to high-stakes championship-level events.
With deep structures, multiple formats, and an emphasis on player experience, the festival continues WPT’s commitment to delivering top-tier poker in Asia.
Opening Games Get The Action Started

Players arriving early are rewarded with a strong lineup of opening events well before the flagship tournaments begin. Leading the opening schedule is the two-day NagaWorld Superstack, which quickly attracted 185 entries on opening day.
In addition to the Superstack, two more tournaments are scheduled on the first day of play:
- PLO Mini Championship – kicking off at 5:00 PM with a $300 buy-in
- Superstack Turbo – starting at 6:00 PM with a $200 buy-in
These early events provide an ideal warm-up for players looking to build momentum heading into the larger buy-in tournaments later in the series.
Early Performers Make Their Mark

Among the standout players in the early stages of the festival is Erik Rozhynskyi , who delivered an impressive performance by winning back-to-back titles in the Mystery Bounty and Mystery Bounty High Roller events.
Beyond those victories, Rozhynskyi recorded six additional cashes, bringing his total earnings at the festival to $141,471, making him one of the most successful players so far and an early contender to watch as the series progresses.
Cash Games Running Around The Clock
Tournament players aren’t the only ones being catered to at WPT Cambodia 2026. A wide selection of cash games is available throughout the festival, running daily with multiple stakes to suit different preferences.
Available games include:
- No-Limit Hold’em (NLH): $1/$3, $2/$5, $5/$10, $10/$20
