The WPT Cambodia 2026 festival at NagaWorld Integrated Resort saw another day of high-stakes drama and record-breaking performances as several flagship events reached their climaxes on January 26 and 27.

Mystery Bounty Day 1B: Wei Yan Dominates the Field

Day 1B of the $1,000 Mystery Bounty saw a robust turnout of 114 entries, with the competition narrowing down to just 15 survivors who have now guaranteed themselves a piece of the prize pool.

Taiwan’s Wei Yan put on a dominant display, bagging a massive 643,000 chips to lead the flight. He is pursued by Pang Kok Yong (526,000) and Armaan Kochhar (511,000). Notable advances include Filipino PLO expert Terry Gonzaga (283,000) and Joshua Figuerres (86,000). Defending champion Erik Rozhynskyi was unable to secure a bag after a second attempt on Day 1B.

The $800 8 Max Championship drew a field of 250 entries, with the top 33 players finishing in the money. After a hard-fought battle, China’s Weixuan Wang emerged victorious, claiming the top prize of $46,350. Wang, who holds over $56,000 in live earnings, secured the win with five-four offsuit on the final hand.
