Sky High Numbers At APT Incheon 2025; Main Event Amasses Records ₩ 1.86B (~$1.4M)

Debuting in Incheon, South Korea in 2017, the Asian Poker Tour quickly cemented the city as a staple stop on its annual calendar. Initially, the location primarily attracted Japanese players due to its proximity, but in 2023, under the new era, the tour began drawing a much broader international field. That year’s Main Event final table featured one of the most diverse lineups in APT Incheon history and it crushed all of its previous numbers, amassing over KR₩ 1.86 Billion (~US$ 1.4 Million).

APT Incheon 2025 Main Event Smashes Previous Record

After a year’s hiatus, APT Incheon has returned in full force to Incheon, launching a ten-day festival at Paradise City Casino that kicked off on August 1. Once again, the Main Event smashed it, drawing 1,281 entries and for a prize pool of over KR₩ 2.72 Billion (~US$ 1.86 Million). The event is ongoing with Day 3 wrapped at 48 players.

The Main Event wasn’t the only blockbuster in Incheon as several featured events also drew roaring fields and juicy prize pools.

Mystery Bounty NLH by Natural8: In 2023, this event drew 375 entries for ₩165,011,200 prize pool, this year, the numbers ballooned to 889 entries and prize pool of ₩672,084,000 (~US$ 482,472).
