May's RDPT Prestige Super High Roller Champ Yunchao Yu tops the field with 631,000 after knocking out Trung Quan Nguyen in the last hand of the day with 9♣ 9♠ against Nguyen's A♠ J♠ with the chips going in on 6♠ 7♥ 9♥ A♦ for a 31BB juicer at the end that saw him overtake Luyao Wu who had been bulldozing the field in the last levels and bagged 570,000 in a close second. Yuhan Liu - no stranger to RDPT final tables himself - finished third with 414,000 to his name, after completely dominating the early stages of the freezeout play.

Yesterday's Baby Dragon Warm-Up winner Tommy Maguire from Australia made his second tournament count as well, taking 164,000 to Day 2 and last night's Hyper Turbo NLH champ Hao Zhu did the same, carrying 55,000 into the Final.

All of them will hope for the remaining three flights to bloat the pot to new heights before they can unpack their chips again at 12 noon on Monday the 9th.

Baby Dragon Kicks Off At 12PM

The Red Dragon Poker Tour Jeju II 2025 continues today, July 5, at the Landing Casino inside the luxurious Jeju Shinhwa World Resort with the highly popular Baby Dragon in the spotlight. A total of four entry flights are available with a buy-in of KR₩ 1,500,000 (~US$ 1,102) and is followed by Day 2 / Final on July 7th where the first featured event champion will be crowned.

Last May, this event generated a KR₩ 432,135,000 (~$310,123) prize pool which is the target to beat, and with one flight more than previous scheduled, it is likely that the records will be toppled.

Day 1A starts at 12PM, followed by Day 1B Turbo later tonight at 6PM. Day 1C and 1D Turbo will run on Sunday, July 6 also at 12PM and 6PM. Entering players start with 30,000 in chips which is 150 times the opening blinds. Day 1A and Day 1C will see blinds increase at a gradual 30 minute pace while Day 1B Turbo and Day 1D Turbo run a faster 20 minute blinds. Registration closes at the end of Level 10.
