Main Event - Day 2
From short stack to executioner: Tai waylays two

Starting Day 2 at nearly the bottom of the rung, China's Tai Weiliang has made serious headway.
This time it Japan's Yuki Homma who makes a raise from the +1 position to 25,000 as Tai makes the call from the +2. Then Kim Donghyun of Korea goes all-in with his dwindling stack of only 39,000 from the SB. Homma and Tai call.
The flop is T♠ J♥ 9♥ as Homma goes for the homer and chucks in 164,000 all-in. Tai quickly calls.
Kim shows 6♣ 6♥ while Homma tables A♣ K♥ for two over cards to the baord and a gutshot Broadway draw. Tai turns over 9♠ 9♣ for mid set on the flop.
With Kim drawing dead, Homma is down to a four-outer that never happens as the 3♥ 5♦ finish off two players and Tai continues his rise from obscurity.
