That’s a wrap on Day 1B of the Poker Dream Juju 16 Main Event here at the Poker Dream Jeju 16 Main Event hosted at Jeju Shinhwa Landing Casino in Jeju Island, South Korea. The second of 11 starting flights attracted 39 entrants and by the end of the night just 3 players remained.

After nearly 19 levels Anton Zhen Zhao Lu emerged as the Day 1b chip leader, finishing the night with 262,000. Lu is most closely followed by Dai Dong Xu (171,000) with Biao Guo rounding out the three Day 1b survivors with 152,000.

Ten starting flights remain, with Day 1c starting tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. local time, with a buy-in of KRW 2,400,000 (~1,700 USD). Later that evening, Day 1d takes place, featuring a buy-in of KRW 1,600,000 (~USD 1,100).

Guo’s pocket kings held up on the 2♠ 6♦ 4♦ 3♠ A♦ runout and he doubled up through Lu.

Anton Zhen Zhao Lu limped in from the small blind, Jacky Jiang shoved for 70,000 from the big blind and Lu called with a covering stack.

Jiang had the best preflop hand but the 4♣ 5♥ 3♥ Q♣ K♠ runout gave Lu two pair to crack Jiang’s aces and eliminate him two spots shy of making the money.

Chi Ngong Tang shoved for 26,000 from the hijack and Anton Zhen Zhao Lu called from the big blind with a covering stack.

Neither player connected with the 3♥ 7♥ 9♠ 5♥ T♠ runout. Lu was good at showdown with ace-high to send Tang to the rail and claim the last of his chips.

The board ran out 7♠ K♠ 3♦ 5♠ J♠ giving Lu the nut-flush to double up through Tang.

Anton Zhen Zhao Lu limped in from the small blind, Jacky Jiang raised to 12,000 from the big blind and Lu called.

The flop came K♦ 9♣ 2♥ and Lu check-folded to an 8,000 bet from Jiang.

Anton Zhen Zhao Lu opened to 5,000 from early position and was called by Yongbin Wang in the cutoff and Qi Sun in the big blind.

The flop came 7♦ K♥ 3♦ and action checked around to Wang who bet 4,000. Both opponents called.

All three players checked the 4♦ turn leading to the 2♣ river. Qi bet 8,000, Lu raised to 31,000 and both opponents folded.

A player opened to 5,000 from under the gun, Anton Zhen Zhao Lu shoved for 29,000 from middle position, Yongbin Wang four-bet shoed with a covering stack and the original raiser got out of the way.
