The tournament reached its conclusion in a swift heads-up battle against Zhihua Yang. In the final hand, Zhang moved all-in on the turn holding a pair with ace-ten, and Yang made the call with ace-eight suited on a flush draw. The board provided no help for the underdog, ending the event and securing his place in the KPC history books.

The victory marks a dominant start to the series for Zhang, who entered the final table second in chips and maintained a steady presence throughout the closing stages. For his runner-up finish, Yang takes home a substantial USD 220,300 consolation prize.
