Su Yu HanAfter 16 levels of play and topping a field of 73, Yu Han Su bags the biggest stack of the day at a whopping 486,000, aided by two last minute knockouts of Zi-Wei Tung and Zhang Congya adding a total of 20 big blinds to her stack.
Runner-up with 272,000 is Joseph Wung Hyun Kim after knocking out Hao Wang simultaneously to the bubble with A♥ 8♦ against 7♠ 7♦ and hitting a boat on the flop. Yunpeng Bai, who banked his biggest live cash of $25,327 a few months ago in Macau by finishing 6th in the MGM Millionaire Maker, came in as a distant third and will start Day 2 with 209,000 in chips.
Day 2 begins later at 12:00 noon local on the 8th of April with the blinds scaled back to level 14 and 30min on the clock to crown a winner out of the 47 remaining contenders.
