The Final Table of the record-breaking KRW 2.6M (~USD 1,860) APT Jeju 2025 Main Event is set, with China’s Hao Zhang leading the way with 16,375,000 in chips.

They return tomorrow for the ultimate showdown, where the winner will claim the prestigious 24K Gold Lion Trophy and the KRW 649,835,200 (~USD 464,170) top prize, the largest APT payout ever awarded in Korea. The Final Table of the record-breaking KRW 2.6M (~USD 1,860) APT Jeju 2025 Main Event is set, with China’s Hao Zhang leading the way with 16,375,000 in chips.

The nine finalists have outlasted a massive field of 1,693 entries (905 unique) in the largest international poker tournament ever held in Korea, which in turn generated a record-breaking prize pool of KRW 3,761,155,200 (~USD 2,686,540), the richest APT Main Event in the country’s history. They return tomorrow for the ultimate showdown, where the winner will claim the prestigious 24K Gold Lion Trophy and the KRW 649,835,200 (~USD 464,170) top prize, the largest APT payout ever awarded in Korea.

Day 4 began with 48 players, and it took six and a half 60-minute levels to whittle the field down to the final nine. WSOP bracelet winner Georgios Skarparis narrowly missed out, falling in 10th place at the hands of Shuang Qiu.

Among those still in contention, Singapore’s Abraham Ceesvin (4,490,000) is making his fourth career APT Main Event final table. After several close calls, he is eyeing his long-awaited breakthrough, hoping to finally shed his “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” run.

Also making history is Lili Tang, champion of Event #25: Women’s Event, who now joins the select group of women to reach an APT Main Event final table. Sitting fourth in chips, she has a strong chance to be the last woman standing, and in a landmark year for women in poker, she is well-positioned to become the tour’s first female Main Event champion and etch her name in APT new era history.

The final table is stacked with Zhang’s countrymen, with Yayun Liu (10,180,000) entering in second position and Shuang Qiu (10,040,000) in third position. Beyond the title and top prize, the top three finishers will also secure seats to the KRW 14M (~USD 10,000) APT Championship Main Event in Taipei this November, which carries a USD 5M guarantee.

The dealer peeled 9♠ Q♦ 8♣. After a check, Na continued for 400,000 prompting Su, who only had around 550,000 behind, to burn two time banks to consider her options. A♠ time was about to run out, Su jammed all her chips in and Na snap-called.

With action folded to the big blind, Ryosuke Ikari, checked what Cen had behind, then announced all-in. Cen, with only, 175,000 behind, needed to consider his options as a call would put his tournament life at risk. After burning a time bank, he made the call, taking all three players to a showdown.

After Cen called, Lee became visibly nervous and started mumbling in his native language what sounded like a plea to the poker gods. Ikari and Cen were anxiously awaiting the flop when it fell 4♣ 8♥ J♥.

Lee's prayers were answered when the K♣ fell on the turn, evoking a very small and quiet cheer from him. His praying didn't stop, however, as the river was still to come. At this point, only a miracle would help Cen stay in the tournament by winning the 600,000 side pot.

The dealer finally peeled the Q♠ river. Despite wearing a mask, Lee's joy could be seen through his eyes finally being able to lean back and relax. Cen got to his feet as both Lee and Ikari scooped the main and the side pots, respectively.

Road to the Final Table Kicks Off on Day 4

Day 4 of the KRW 2.6M (~USD 1,860) APT Jeju 2025 Main Event resumes today at 11:15 AM at Les A Casino in Jeju Shinhwa World.

From the 246 players who began Day 2, just 47 remain in the hunt for the record-breaking KRW 3,761,155,200 (~USD 2,686,540) prize pool, the largest ever for an APT Main Event in Korea and the third biggest in tour history. All returning players are already guaranteed KRW 10,460,000 (~USD 7,470), but today’s challenge is to secure a seat at the final table.

China’s Peng Zhou leads with 4,460,000, followed by Shuang Qiu (4,010,000), the only two players over the 4 million mark. Danqiu Chen sits in third with 2,765,000. At stake is the KRW 649,835,200 (~USD 464,170) first prize, the largest APT payout ever awarded in Korea. The top three finishers will also earn seats to the KRW 14M (~USD 10,000) APT Championship Main Event in Taipei this November, which carries a USD 5M guarantee.
