Why You Will Love This Charity Series of Poker
There are so many reasons to grab your tickets right now. Whether you are a professional card player or just want a fun night out, this Vegas poker tournament has something for everyone:
- Amazing Food and Drinks: Your ticket includes an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse dinner. The servers walk around with delicious meat on skewers, and you can eat as much as you want! There is also a great salad bar and an open bar. If you do not want to play cards, you can just pay for the charity poker dinner and enjoy the vibes.
- Meet the Stars: You can rub shoulders with local celebrities. Expected guests include NOFX lead singer “Fat Mike” Burkett, Friday the 13th actor Kane Hodder, and actress Katie Morgan.
- Play Against Poker Pros and poker-loving celebrities: Get ready to bluff against some big names! Four-time bracelet winner Mike Matusow , WPT tournament director Matt Savage, poker coach Jonathan Little, MGM Resorts poker director Sean McCormack, and two-time bracelet winner Tyler Patterson are all expected to be there.
- Awesome Prizes and Auctions: Over $15,000 in cash and prizes await in this Vegas poker tournament. You can also bid on silent auction items, including art pieces and seats for a Vegas Golden Knights hockey game.
Last year’s award ceremony featured a surprise appearance from poker legend Phil Ivey , whose mother, Pamela Ivey, played in the charity poker tournament.
The Schedule For This Event
The evening starts early and is packed with fun. CSOP founder Matt Stout will host a free poker lesson at 5:00 PM while everyone gathers for the charity poker dinner. Then the charity poker tournament starts at 7:00 p.m., with a $150 buy-in, while $300 poker, dinner, and open bar packages are also available. Each re-buy and add-on costs $100.
It is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes before you play poker for charity. Last year, the event raised over $60,000, and PokerNews’ own Connor Richards took home a recent trophy.
